Defence is seeking experienced cyber professionals to apply their skills in service of national security. Through a new entry pathway that recognises skills, experience and demonstrated capability, the Cyber Reserve Force reduces barriers for experienced professionals while maintaining Defence standards.

The appointment of the first direct-entry Cyber Reserve Force member marks a significant milestone in building a specialist workforce that will strengthen Defence's cyber capability, deepen engagement with industry and enhance Australia's national security.
