I only have one day left before I return to my FIFO duties on a standard Western Australian roster.

I have been reviewing and writing code for the last 4 days as I rapidly try to close the gap between "Black October" and its ramifications and moving forward with 3 projects that will allow me to pentest my own systems, automatically without relying on Cloudservices both in a red and blue scope. You can call it purple if you want.

Its a work in progress

One major leap forward is allowing me to talk to the AI remotely via my mobile to a workstation which gives access via a dedicated device, without opening up holes in others.

This required the rapid development of documentation suitable for an AI / system administrator / software engineeer on the master repo and forked repos, the writing of handover notes to start new remote sessions based on 8 local sessions that are now available remotely.

The rest are just standard chat sessions that are not particularly relevant to the below.

These control everything from the hypervisor, script modification, log monitoring, monitoring PR requests across repos, raising PR requests, issue reports, and system and network administration.

Handover complete. I now have access and can issue instructions remotely, with clear documentation and guidelines written.

The n8n project is still a non starter as Ubiquiti has still not overhauled their API to allow for IDS/IPS integration but my infrastructure is sitting there ready when they are.

Still not satisfied with the trivy reports coming out of my container services but there is not much I can do about it. This is very much a maintainer problem and very complicated especially if the container is based on Debian.

Having a good feed on cybersecurity, monitoring maintainers releases, security related information and speed of response has proven to be very important - I kid you not.

It has been one hell of a learning curve.
