If you have been paying attention to what China has been achieving lately in relation to its ship building and the complications and problems of the American shipbuilding industry you would be aware that the west has a significant problem in matching China's efficiency - to say nothing about the Australian submarine replacement program which might be a mess.

So, with the disaster that has happened to Ukraine, and the ability of the Ukrainians to think outside the box, a lot of people have been watching, especially in relation to the use of drones on land, sea and air.

Apparently, a company in America is paying very good attention. See below

Fully autonomous ship building and at sizes to replace platforms such as destroyers and frigates. Watch this space.
