Proxmox Docker Projects

Proxmox Docker Projects

In between running around like a blue-arsed fly, I have managed to find some time to complete some docker projects

Why - because it enhances my IT skills in docker, network and administration

Had roughly 20 of these on my to-do list and I have put a serious dent in them

I have 4 docker servers roughly and each of them are starting to earn their keep

Projects

  • Immich - done - minor testing but working
  • Adventurelog - done - minor testing but working
  • Open Appsec & NPMplus WAF - done - get ready to move back to local servers
  • Cloudflared - done - ready to move to Cloudflare tunneling rather than opening ports
  • Ghost Servers - up and running.
  • Jellyfin Media server - done - needs configuring
  • Mail server - scrapped - a pain in the arse - reverted to mail relaying
  • Discord server - not done
  • Sniffnet - not done
  • CISA Malcolm - probably obsolete but a docker stack would be nice
  • Hulu - thinking about it but if I get Discord server going not needed
  • Stirling PDF - very handy little utility - done
  • ReconMap - not done
  • Code Registry - top priority - bloody Portainer licensing

To be or not to be is the question

  • Fix the group policy code and the secedit reset problem
  • Purge the newsletters in the ghost servers which will require reverse engineering the MySQL database - let the hacking begin - it's not documented.
  • Find the iptables rules in the Ubiquiti router that divert all DNS queries to the Cybersecure Cloudflare service and test it - might be able to use it to divert other traffic - 😄
  • Send feedback to Ubiquiti about the Cybersecure Suricata problems in relations to rules changing and the loss of exceptions for said rules - testing - lots of it
  • Review the Proxmox firewall rules and rescan the network to verify the results
  • Look into the DFIR posts - see how, what and why - review GPO
  • Finish testing the WAF so I can dump my hosting provider

So very busy and I need to get my FIFO training done, so I can get back to work

Getting more independent of cloud services all the time.
