We FINALLY Understand Why Tardigrades Refuse to Die

Just finished watching this among a few other things

Apparently, Tardigrades (other than being the most fascinating creature on the planet) may be able to help humanity with large set of problems in relation to space travel, oh, and sunburn.

According to this video from Ben Miles, there is substantial work being done and how these creatures achieve their near immortality in conditions that would kill everything else on the planet.
